The Triangle offers an array of exciting things to do. There are several museums, gardens, parks, theaters, lakes, golf courses, and tennis courts, to name just a few of your choices. If you want to get away for the weekend, the beach is an easy two and a half hour drive east on I-40 and the Blue Ridge and Appalachian mountains are not much further than that to the west. The North Carolina Zoo is only about an hour away in Asheboro.

The professional teams in the area include the Durham Bulls (baseball), the Carolina Hurricanes (hockey), the Carolina Mudcats (baseball), the Raleigh Flyers (soccer), and the Raleigh Edge (tennis). Throughout the year, the area offers the best in amateur and professional sports, and there is certainly a sport for everyone to enjoy. The Triangle is truly a sports paradise!
